1. Irving, Texas-based U.S. Oral Surgery Management added eight partner practices and 12 surgeons across seven states.
2. Peoria, Ill.-based Associated Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons is constructing a $5 million oral surgery center to relocate its office.
3. Mark Oppenheim, DMD, MD, and Brad Schafer, DDS, opened an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice in Texas.
4. Oral and maxillofacial surgery was ranked among 25 physician specialties that charge the most.
5. Dallas-based Beacon Oral Specialists added Grand Prairie, Texas-based DFW Oral Surgery and Monterey, Calif.-based Yellich & Salehpour Oral Surgery to its network.
