Dental device company Rodo Medical has partnered with Independence, Ohio-based Roe Dental Laboratory on the distribution and marketing of an arch restoration system, the dental lab said Dec. 16.
The partnership will focus on the Rodo Abutment System, which allows dentists to place and retrieve restorations without cement or screws by using an attachment called Smileloc, which is made from nitinol, a "shape memory" material.
Roe Dental Laboratory will integrate the Rodo system with its Chrome GuidedSmile system, a stackable metal guide used to coordinate implants, bone reduction and prosthetics.
