Atlanta-based Georgia School of Orthodontics graduated its largest class from its advanced specialty education program in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.
The school's sixth class in its history was its largest to date, with a graduating class of 40 residents from the 36-month program, according to a Sept. 6 news release.
The program's curriculum includes didactic, clinical and research components, as well as instruction on the business side of running an orthodontics practice.
Since the school's founding in 2016, it has treated more than 12,000 patients, the release said.
