Kwikly Dental Staffing completed a series A fundraising round, led by an investment from Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental.
The dental staffing company plans to use the additional funds to scale its platform to make staffing for dental practices easier, according to a July 23 news release.
Kwikly's platform gives dental practices access to reliable professionals and gives staff in the dental space flexible scheduling and competitive compensation.
About one-third of dental hygienists and dental assistants are expected to retire within the next five years, which will continue to drive demand for qualified hygienists and assistants, the release said.
