Teledentistry company SmileDirectClub is partnering with the National Dental Association to offer dental students and dental professionals of color tuition scholarships.
The scholarships will provide financial assistance and reduce economic barriers for dental practitioners from underrepresented and underserved communities of color. The two groups will select 28 recipients to receive $7,500.
This is the second year the two organizations have partnered on the scholarship program, according to an Aug. 24 news release.
