The global dental insurance market size is projected to hit $333.92 billion in 2032.
The heightened awareness and demand for dental hygiene services is a driving factor in the projected increase, with more individuals recognizing the impact oral health has on overall health, according to a Nov. 7 news release from Straits Research.
The introduction and adoption of new technologies, including machine learning and AI, can help reduce insurance fraud, overdiagnosis and diagnostic errors by automating the dental claims process.
Currently, 35% of Americans lack dental insurance, compared to 15% of Americans who do not have medical insurance.
The market was valued at $150.65 billion in 2023, the release said.
