Guardian has become the first dental insurer to offer a tobacco cessation program through its partnership with Pelago, a virtual clinic for substance use management.
Guardian will offer the program as part of new dental plans beginning in July, according to a June 17 news release.
The program's services will become available to members and their families, including covered children ages 15 and older.
