Sixty-five percent of dental patients at private dental practices are covered by private insurance, compared to 20% of patients at dental school clinics, according to a new report from the American Dental Education Association.
The ADEA released a report Feb. 6 examining U.S. dental schools' provision of dental services and their engagement with government programs. The report also detailed how insurance coverage compared for patients of private practices versus dental schools.
