Dental offices in California had a total economic impact of $69.28 billion in 2022, the highest of any state, according to data from the American Dental Association's Health Policy Institute.
The report, which includes the total economic impact and total number of jobs supported by offices of dentists, was released in February.
Offices of dentists across the U.S. accounted for nearly $478 billion in economic impact in 2022.
While practices in California generated the most impact, the state's total economic impact per dentist was below the national average.
