New Mexico dental practice launches in-house dental plan to combat rising costs

Albuquerque, N.M.-based Maven Dentistry added its own dental plan to help patients afford care.

Under the plan, patients can pay an annual fee to receive certain services for the year. The plans cost $425 for adults and $225 for children, according to a June 13 news release. The plan covers two cleanings with exams, an emergency exam, X-rays and fluoride treatments. Patients also receive a 20 percent discount off any additional treatments.

The dental practice said the plan was launched in response to rising costs and decreasing insurance coverage for dental care.
