Nebraska legislators are considering a bill to increase reimbursement rates for Medicaid dental services, Unicameral Update reported Feb. 17.
LB358 would increase the reimbursement rates by 25 percent in an effort to increase access to dental services for state Medicaid recipients.
The bill was introduced Jan. 12. Several members of the dental industry supported the measure during a Feb. 16 hearing, including Jessica Meeske, DDS, vice president of the Nebraska Dental Association.
