The Delta Dental Community Care Foundation will give out $20 million in funds to several nonprofits with dental and oral health initiatives, the organization said Oct. 26.
The foundation will donate to nonprofits in the 15 states where Delta Dental of California operates. The funding is focused on innovative organizations that address equity and serve rural areas.
"This year, we are focused on underserved rural communities and the homebound senior adult population, which represent a part of the broader commitment Delta Dental is making through an increase in funding over last year," said Kenzie Ferguson, vice president of foundation and corporate social responsibility for Delta Dental of California.
