Dentsply Sirona CFO Ulrich Michel is stepping down from his role, effective Nov. 10, according to the Central Penn Business Journal.

1. Although Mr. Michel's resignation goes into effect Nov. 10, he will remain on Dentsply Sirnona's pay roll until the end of the year. Explained in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing, this is to ensure Mr. Michel qualifies for benefits under his employment contract.
2. Nicholas Alexos, who was hired last month to serve as executive vice president and chief administrative officer, will succeed Mr. Michel as CFO. He will report to new CEO Mark Thierer.
3. Mr. Alexos previously served Madison Dearborn Partners, a private equity firm. He has also represented Chicago Venture Capital and First National Bank of Chicago.
4. While serving as CFO, Mr. Alexos will continue to follow the agreement of his existing employment, which is for two years with automatic one-year renewals.
