Aspen Dental's Healthy Mouth Movement provided $10.4M in dental care over 3-year period: 5 things to know

Aspen Dental launched A Healthy Mouth Movement to provide better dental care to Americans.

Here are five things to know about the program:

1. Aspen Dental implemented the program in 2014 to improve dental care as millions of Americans don't see a dentist each year.

2. Aspen Dental dentists and other members have provided free dental care to 17,000-plus veterans and other patients since 2014.

3. The program coincides with Aspen Dental's Mission to "break down barriers to better care, better smiles and better lives."

4. Aspen Dental has more than 9,819 volunteers and has donated nearly $10.35 million in dental care to U.S. veterans.

5. Aspen Dental has a Day of Service Day in which Aspen Dental practices see veterans at no cost. This year, 4,500-plus veterans obtained dental care that day.
