The International Dental Implant Association awarded diplomate status to Teresa Salem, DDS, of Holbrook (Mass.) Dental, Wicked Local reports.

2. Dr. Salem completed at least 350 hours of dental theory training and implanted more than 150 implants to earn the honor.
3. A spokesman for the IDIA Arun K. Garg, DMD, said to Wicked Local, "Diplomate status is our most coveted award; it's an achievement that says Dr. Salem takes her dedication to the IDIA seriously and we thank her for her continuing efforts and the mentorship she offers IDIA members that are still advancing through the organization's ranks."
