Menomonee Falls, Wis.-based Scion Dental selected Marcel Tetzlaff as vice president of dental benefits management.

1. In his new position, Mr. Tetzlaff will work to bolster Scion Dental's approach to delivering more appropriate and efficient care to members.
2. He will create and implement an approach to dental benefit management, including managing Scion Dental's Enhanced Benefit Management program. The program utilizes big data to evaluate its clients markets and create strategies based on its findings.
3. Equipped with more than two decades of experience managing government and commercial dental and health plans, Dr. Tetzlaff most recently was the director of program implementation at Integrated Health Network of Wisconsin, a multisystem, clinically integrated accountable care network.
4. He was also regional vice president of provider networks at Boston-based DentaQuest, which sells and administers commercial and government dental and vision benefit programs.
