The Academy of Osseointegration is accepting applications for its 2017-2018 Osseointegration Foundation Research Grants. The Osseointegration Foundation grants award as much as $30,000 per application.
Here's what you need to know:
1. There are two research grant awards — one in "basic science" and one in "applied science." The academy is particularly interested in applications related to dental implant research.
2. To qualify, the applicants must conduct research at an academic dental institution and at least one person on the applicant team must be an AO member.
3. The Osseointegration Foundation Research Grants are funded by the Osseointegration Foundation and administered through AO.
The submission deadline is Dec. 2, 2016.
