The Etowah, N.C.-based nonprofit Florence Nightingale Global Health recently returned from a humanitarian aid trip, according to the Asheville Citizen-Times.

1. A team of 16 volunteers traveled to Texcoco, Mexico, to provide dental education and training.
2. Volunteers partnered with local organizations during their trip, such as Rotary Club of Texcoco de Gante and Sistema Municipal DIF Texcoco.
3. The president of Florence Nightingale Global Health, Florence Allbaugh, told Asheville Citizen-Times that this humanitarian work is important because the limited dental services available in Texcoco are often too expensive for the working poor to afford.
