4 things to know about Aspen Dental Management's new reimbursement program

Aspen Dental Management launched a new reimbursement program to help lab technicians obtain their Certified Dental Technician designation in Complete Dentures.

Here are four things to know:

1. Aspen Dental will reimburse dental technicians 100 percent of the costs linked to the application process and exam fees once they pass.

2. The program will also pay technicians for their annual renewal fees.

3. National Association of Dental Laboratories, the American Dental Association and the American College of Prosthodontists recognize and support the CDT designation.

4. ADMI employs approximately 760 lab technicians across the nation.

"We are devoted to helping develop our dental lab technicians' abilities by providing them access to the tools and accreditations required to enhance their skills and careers," said Jess Mulyca, director of lab support, ADMI. "It is critical for the dentists supported by ADMI to have top-notch, highly qualified lab support in order to provide superior care and prosthetics to their patients, and this program helps make that happen."
