The Academy of General Dentistry awarded Nicholas A. Papadea, DMD, FAGD, the association's Fellowship Award. To earn the award, Dr. Papadea completed 500 hours of dental continuing education, was a member of the AGD for three years and passed a comprehensive written exam.
Emanuel Michaels, DDS, passed away at age 86 from stroke complications. He earned his dental degree from Medical College of Virginia's School of Dentistry in Richmond, according to Southside Daily.
The Academy of General Dentistry awarded David L. Jones, DDS, the association's Mastership Award after Dr. Jones completed 1,100 hours of dental continuing education, according to Daily Nonpareil.
