Dental Select, the largest U.S. independent and privately-held dental insurer, named Jeff Van Leeuwen director of business development, according to Yahoo Finance.
Here are four things to know:
1. As director of business development, Mr. Van Leeuwen will be in charge of seeking new business opportunities, identifying strategic relationships as well as strengthening Dental Select's customer base.
4. In his new role, he will report to Suzette Musgrove, Dental Select's chief sales officer.
3. He has accrued more than 17 years of experience in the group insurance industry.
4. Since its inception in 1989, Dental Select has offered fully-insured and self-funded group dental plans, in addition to family dental plans.
