Washington, D.C.-based Howard University College of Dentistry named Andre Singleton, DDS, dean of the advisory board.
Here are four notes:
1. Dr. Singleton graduated from HUCD in 1996.
2. As the board's dean, Dr. Singleton will lead HUCD's strategic and visionary planning, community outreach, faculty and student recruitment, alumni engagement and fundraising and grant opportunities.
3. In 2011, Kool Smiles, a dental provider, named Dr. Singleton area dental director, where he oversaw five offices throughout Texas and New Mexico.
4. Headquartered in Marietta, Ga., Kool Smiles has more than 100 offices across 16 states.
