The Texas Dental Association recognized the St. Paul Children's Foundation in Tyler for its work as a top dental charity provider, according to Tyler Morning Telegraph.
Here are five notes:
1. Texas Dental Association granted the foundation its Certificate of Merit for providing people in need dental care at little to no cost.
2. Brady Swinney, DDS, accepted the award during the association's 146th annual convention.
3. St. Paul's providers offer services including checkups, cleanings, fillings, extractions, emergency care and more.
4. The practice also provides children enrolled in Tyler's ISA Head Start program dental screenings.
5. St. Paul also participated in East Texas Missions of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile, which provide services to people at no charge.
