Larry DeGroat, DDS, is Michigan Dental Association's new president, according to Oakland Press.

1. MDA named Dr. DeGroat president at the association's 160th annual session.
2. Since 1974, Dr. DeGroat has been a MDA member.
3. He has previously served as MDA's president-elect and vice-president.
4. Dr. DeGroat earned his dental degree from University of Detroit Dental School.
5. At the meeting, MDA named other dentists to the association including:
• Michele Tulak-Gorecki, DDS, president-elect
• Robert Tremblay, DDS, secretary/treasurer
• Stephan Harris, DDS, delegate to the American Dental Association
