Here are five dentists in the news this week.
Chicago cosmetic dentist, Sheldon Seidman, DDS, provided two Holocaust survivors free dental care. Dr. Seidman performed an extraction and provided a denture for one patient and fit the second patient for a dental bridge.
Aspen Dental opened a practice in Hot Spring, Ark. Brittany M. Halliburton, DDS, will lead the practice.
Viviane T. Trinh, DMD, joined Wilton (Conn.) Center Family Dentistry. She earned her doctorate of dental medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in Farmington.
Steve Stilianos, DDS, is pursuing plans to develop a medical center adjacent to his practice, Howell (Mich.) Family Dentistry. Dr. Stilianos' "dream office" will serve as a multipurpose medical facility with suites available for two tenants and the dental office.
Michael Schroeder, DDS, a dentist and elected official died on May 8 at age 61. Dr. Schroeder served patients in Arlington Heights, Ill., according to The Chicago Tribune.
