Douglas John Sanders, DDS, died at age 92 of heart disease, according to Baltimore Sun.
Here are four notes:
1. Born in Chicago, Dr. Sanders earned his dental degree from Northwestern University, also in Chicago.
2. During WWII and the Korean War, Dr. Sanders served in the U.S. Public Health Service.
3. He practiced in Pikesville, Md., until he was 88.
4. Dr. Sander also was a trombone payer who had two recording sessions with Gene Krupa, a drummer and bandleader.
