Continental Who's Who granted Irvin McCaine, DDS, the 2016 Lifetime Achievement award in the dentistry field. Dr. McCaine earned his doctor of dental surgery from Howard University in Washington, D.C.
Jennifer Cornell, DDS, of Back 2 Basics Dentistry in Clarksville, Tenn., has worked with sleep apnea patients for the last three years. Dr. Cornell said dentists can help treat sleep apnea patients through dental appliances for the mouth that patients wear when sleeping to help maintain normal breathing, according to the Leaf Chronicle.
