Duluth, Minn.-based Woodland Family Dental is traveling to Belize to provide care and educate residents on dental hygiene, according to Fox 21.
Here are three notes:
1. Dan Larschied, DDS, is heading the trip and is seeking other local dentists to donate supplies.
2. If any community members donate, the dental practice will match the donation.
3. "We will be first and foremost educating them. Educate young children, desensitizing them to the dentist so when they grow up they will not be fearful," said Dr. Dan Larscheid.
