Cleveland Avenue Dental Center is working with Winston-Salem and Forsyth County Schools in Ohio to provide care to students, according to Winston-Salem Journal.
Here are five highlights:
1. The dental clinic and schools will begin their partnership in January 2016.
2. Cleveland Avenue Dental Center is a publicly financed project of the Forsyth County Department of Public Health.
3. If students' parents sign a permission slip, the children will receive dental screenings at school. Parents will then receive the dental screening.
4. Those children insured through Medicaid of NC Health Choice can receive additional services such as cleanings and sealants.
5. The Forsyth County Commissioners are expected to review the program for final approval next week.
