During its 86th annual convocation in Washington, D.C., the International College of Dentists inducted Kevin M. Laing, DDS, as a fellow. The ICD is the world's oldest and largest honor society for dentists, according to nj.com.
Great Hill Dental Partners welcomed endodontist Aliyah Shivji, DMD, to its office in Clemson, Mass. She went to dental school at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston.
During Roselle Park Dental's charity day, Jamie Oshidar, DMD, and other volunteers provided care for New Jersey residents, according to nj.com.
Schatzie Vincent, DMD, provided care for Hondurans in need from Nov. 21 to Nov. 28. Dr. Vincent and other volunteers treated nearly 300 people, according to The Hour Online.
The American College of Prosthodontist recognized three prosthodonitsts for their original research in 2015 John J. Sharry Research Competition. The winners include:
