Patterson Companies elects VP of investor relations, Biolase shareholder buys $43k in company shares & more — 7 key notes

DENTSPLY and Sirona's waiting period for the proposed merger under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 has expired. Therefore, the merger is not subject to any further antitrust regulatory review in the United States. Both companies project the transaction to close during the first quarter of 2016. 

Analysts gave Henry Schein shares a $149.33 price target. Wall street sell-side analysts predict Henry Schein will report earnings of $1.65 per share for the current quarter. 

During the week of Nov. 16 to Nov. 20, Danaher shares rallied 4.07 percent and rose 4.88 percent in the last four weeks, according to American Trade Journal. 

At the 2015 Radiological Society of North America conference, Carestream will showcase its MyVue Center Self-Service Kiosk. The device allows patient to use the system to print or share their radiology reports and output their medical images into radiographic film or a USB device, according to dotmed. 

On Nov. 11, Biolase major shareholder Larry N. Feinberg purchased 54,800 shares of the company's stock in a transaction totaling $43,292, according to MidSouth News & Analysis. 

Brice Arndt, DDS, of Heartland Dental, is running for the state Senate position in the 31st district of Pennsylvania, according to York Dispatch. Dr. Arndt said in a statement, "Like the majority of my neighbors, I have spent my career trying to build a better life for my family and our community. We go to work, do our jobs and expect legislators to make the most of our hard-earned tax dollars." 

Patterson Companies named John Wright as vice president of investor relations. He previously served at The Toro Company in several senior leadership roles across various marketing and finance areas.
