Frank Spear, DDS, is presenting at the Academy of Osseointegration's 2016 Annual Meeting on a presentation titled, "Globalization of Training, Education, and Comprehensive Collaborative Treatment Planning in Implant Dentistry: Understanding the Risks and Rewards." With more than 30 years of experience in restoring implants, Dr. Spears discusses the various risks and rewards clinicians should consider when placing implants.
Scott Yunes, DMD, from North Easton (Mass.) Dental Associates, and other dentists provided free dental care to veterans in local communities. In 2014, dentists from 31 dental practices provided preventative and minor restorative services to veterans from across the state, according to Wicked Local Easton.
The American College of Dentists named Steven D. Chan, DDS, as president during its annual meeting in Washington D.C. Dr. Chan practices at Just Kids Pediatric Dentistry in Fremont, Calif., according to Inside Bay Area News.
