Here are nine dentists making the news this week.
Tim Knotek, DDS, of Associated Dentists in River Falls, Wis., is retiring after 27 years. Dr. Knotek has practiced in River Falls throughout his entire career, according to River Falls Journal.
Nicolas Reep, DMD, of Reep Family Dental in Yakina, Wash., was selected to the "America's Best Dentists" registry for 2015. The National Consumer Advisory Board made the selections.
Terry Work, DMD, of Dental Works Family Dentistry in Scottsdale, Ariz., is looking for patients in need of dental implants to partake in a workshop. Patients would receive the implant at a discounted price and would help train other dentists to use a new dental implant technique, according to AZ Big Media.
The Minnesota Dental Association elected new officers to its organization. The new officers include:

• Ken Dens, DDS: President Elect
• Resch R David, DDS: First Vice-President
• David Anderson, DDS: Second Vice-President
• Howard Taylor, DDS: Speaker of the House
• Travis Schmitt, DDS: Treasurer
