DENTSPLY and Sirona Dental Systems entered a $13.3 billion merger agreement in which the combined company will now have a net revenue of approximately $3.8 billion and an adjusted EBITDA of more than $900 million, according to StreetInsider.com.
On Sept. 17, Aspen Dental will open a new dental office in Richmond, Ky. The facility will provide dental services including dentures, preventative care, general dentistry and restoration, according to News-Medical. Aspen Dental is also opening a practice in Aiken, S.C., on Sept. 24.
Henry Schein shares rose 1.48 percent during the week of Sept. 7 to Sept. 11, but lost 6.8 percent during the last four weeks, according to Insider Trading Report.
Ultradent Products donated 100 percent of the whitening materials for the Smiles For Life Campaign. The campaign raised approximately $1.5 million for the underserved children around the world this year from March to June, according to Digital Journal.
3M shares traded down 0.49 percent at $140.77 per share. The company had an up/down ratio of 1.16, according to Insider Trading Report.
Carestream's two radiography/fluoroscopy systems are now available for consumers. Carestream DRX-Excel and Carestream DRX-Excel Plus use fluoroscopy to perform high quality contrast exams, according to Express Healthcare.
Danaher shares traded at $86.77 per share, down 0.08 percent. The company has an up/down ratio of 2.47, according to Insider Trading Report.
Zacks analysts gave Patterson Companies a rank of 3, indicating a "hold" rating for the short term. Seven analysts gave the company a short term price target of $53.14, according to OTC Outlook.
