The University of Texas Health Science's School of Dentistry in San Antonio dedicated its new Center for Oral Health Care & Research on Thursday, Sept. 10, according to My San Antonio.
Here are four notes:
1. The 198,000-sqaure-foot facility costs $96.5 million.
2. Dental school students will undergo supervised training at the new facility.
3. It will have more than 400 dental chairs in addition to extra-large monitors in each of its exam rooms and surgical areas.
4. The clinic will house a dental surgery operating room and an overnight recovery area.
