For the fifth year, The Northeast Delta Dental Foundation has given an $8,500 grant to the University of Vermont Dental and Oral Health Residency Program.
The residency program offers rotations in general dentistry at their facility in South Burlington, Vt., as well as private specialty practices and The University of Vermont Medical Center.
"We are happy to award this grant as we feel it is very important to provide new dentists with training opportunities in Vermont, and hope they continue to practice in the state," said Foundation Treasurer Kathleen B. Walker.
