DentaQuest, the largest oral health enterprise within Medicaid, has appointed Sarah Dirks, DDS, and Kathleen Betts to its board of directors, according to a release.
Here are four things to know about the new additions:
1. Dr. Dirks is the CEO and owner of Geriatric Dental Group of South Texas and SeniorHealth Dental.
2. Dr. Dirks was also a clinical director of the Geriatric Dental Clinic at the University of Texas Health Science Center, her alma mater as well. She is currently a faculty member at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, among many other leadership positions.
3. Ms. Betts is chief human resources officer for supply and logistics company ModusLink, and has held leadership roles and organizations including University Hospital at Boston University Medical Center and Magee Women's Hospital of University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
4. Ms. Betts is also a prior director and chair of the Compensation Committee at Ellis Memorial in Boston.
