Here are seven dental leadership moves that have taken place since Feb. 20:
1. Utica, N.Y.-based Mohawk Valley Community College appointed Kasey Penoyer as assistant dean of the School of Health Sciences and director of dental hygiene.
2. Aflac hired Michael Fradkin to be senior vice president of its dental and vision business unit.
3. David Maywhoor, the director of the National Coalition of Dentists for Health Equity, will step down from his role March 31.
4. Jae Hyun Park, DMD, PhD, was selected to be the next editor-in-chief of the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and AJO-DO Clinical Companion, effective June 1.
5. Kenneth Chance Sr., DDS, will step down from his role as dean of Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine Dec. 31.
6. Fadie Coleman, PhD, was removed from her position as assistant dean of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine's Office for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging.
7. A DSO including Godley Station Dental, Satilla Family Smiles and Lexington Family Smiles appointed Kirk Clanton as its new COO.
