The Western University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine in Pomona, Calif., recently appointed Elizabeth Andrews, DDS, its new dean.
Dr. Andrews is a past president of the Yosemite Dental Society and trustee to the California Dental Association, according to an Aug. 15 news release.
She joined the dental school as an assistant professor in 2008 before being promoted to associate dean of academic affairs in 2011 and to associate professor with tenure in 2018. She also serves on several school committees, including chair of its university curriculum committee and co-chair of its admissions committee.
Dr. Andrews is also a fellow of the Southern California Academy of Oral Pathology and the American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology.
