Dallas-based Smile Doctors grew its network to more than 460 locations across 32 states in 2024, according to a Feb. 11 news release from the company.
Here are five things to know about the orthodontic support organization's growth in 2024:
1. Smile Doctors added 31 affiliated locations and opened five de novo practices in 2024.
2. The company is planning to open 10 additional de novo locations in 2025.
3. The OSO entered four new states in 2024: South Dakota, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.
4. The company made several additions to its senior leadership team, including hiring Jon Kaufman as chief marketing and strategy officer and Tonya Ramsey as chief legal officer.
5. Smile Doctors also achieved organic year-over-year growth and continued to expand its joint venture model.
