Aspen Dental celebrates 10 years of social initiatives: 7 things to know

Chicago-based Aspen Dental reached the 10-year mark of expanding access to dental care through its social impact programs, according to a Dec. 18 news release from the DSO.

Here are seven things to know:

1. Since 2014, the company's Health Mouth Movement initiatives have provided free dental care to more than 30,000 individuals.

2. To celebrate the milestone, Aspen Dental has launched the Decades of Smiles initiative, which is providing 10 veterans free, start-to-finish smile makeovers. 

3. The TAG Oral Care Center for Excellence, which opened in 2022, has donated more than $10 million in free services since its founding. 

4. During the company's Day of Service nationwide event, Aspen Dental practices provide free dental care to U.S. Veterans. 

5. For the Smile for Your Service initiative, local practices sponsor a U.S. veteran's complete treatment plan.

6. Aspen Dental's Overseas Outreach program provides free dental care and education in high need areas and communities. 

7. The Aspen Dental MouthMobile is a mobile dental office that traveled 150,000 miles to provide dental to underserved communities.
