PDS Health's growth in 2024: 14 moves

Here are 14 moves showing how Henderson, Nev.-based PDS Health has grown so far this year: 

1. PDS Health is celebrating national dental hygiene month by highlighting the role dental hygienists can play in medical-dental integrated healthcare.

2. PDS Health added 10 partner practices in October.

3. The Pacific Dental Services Foundation awarded more than $60,000 in scholarships to 17 dental assisting students. 

4. PDS Health opened four de novo offices in September.

5. In September, PDS Health donated more than $16.5 million in dental services during its 14th annual Smile Generation Serve Day. 

6. PDS Health added three practices in August.

7. PDS Health added six dental practices to its network in July. 

8. The Pacific Dental Services Foundation donated its mobile clinic to the High Point (N.C.) University Workman School of Dental Medicine.

9. PDS Health reached the 1,000-practice milestone by opening an office in Charleston, S.C.

10. Stephen Thorne, founder and CEO of PDS Health, earned the 2024 presidential award from the Association of Dental Support Organizations.

11. The company was named as one of The Civic 50 honorees, which recognizes companies for corporate citizenship, social impact and community engagement.

12. PDS added three specialty dental groups to its network in April. 

13. The company joined the American Dental Assistants Association to celebrate Dental Assistants Recognition Week.

14. PDS showed its support for several initiatives in honor of American Heart Month in February.
