Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental is celebrating its notable growth during the first half of 2024.
The DSO detailed the company's accomplishments through June in an Aug. 8 news release.
Eight notes on Heartland Dental's growth and industry accomplishments:
1. Heartland Dental opened 55 practices through June 2024, which also included relocations of existing offices.
2. The DSO affiliated with 21 more practices in 14 states.
3. Heartland Dental said it maintained its doctor capacity and also added 57 hygienists.
4. The company now supports a total of more than 2,800 doctors and more than 1,750 offices in 39 states and Washington, D.C.
5. Heartland Dental and VideaHealth completed the largest dental AI rollout in history earlier this year after the DSO added VideaHealth's technology to its network.
6. July marked a year since the DSO launched Heartland Dental University, the company's educational initiative for its supported providers and team members. HDU facilitated more than 85,000 training sessions and earned a Net Promoter Score of 65.49%.
7. Heartland Dental was included in Newsweek's "America's Greatest Workplaces" and "America's Greatest Workplaces for Diversity" lists.
8. Stephanie Townsend, Heartland Dental's senior vice president of operations, told Becker's that for the rest of 2024, the DSO plans to focus on driving growth at its existing offices, expanding its network through de novos and affiliations and continuing to foster a supportive culture for its providers and team members.
