Sarasota, Fla.-based Dental Care Alliance partnered with dental artificial intelligence company Overjet to implement AI technology across its network of practices.
The two companies will integrate Overjet's AI platform to Dental Care Alliance's more than 400 allied dental practices across 24 states, according to a July 23 news release from Overjet.
Overjet's FDA-cleared AI analyzes dental X-rays to detect, outline and quantify oral diseases. The program also improves patient education and communication, leading to a higher case acceptance rate, the release said.
The partnership between Dental Care Alliance and Overjet began in 2022.
Dental Care Alliance supports more than 900 dentists, the release said.
