Here are the executives leaders of five specialty dental groups, including oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics and more:
Matthew Haddad, DMD, and Daryl Dudum, DDS. Co-founders and Co-CEOs of Specialty1 Partners (Houston): Dr. Haddad and Dr. Dudum oversee the organization's three subsidiaries: Endo1 Partners, OS1 Partners and Perio1 Partners. The three brands have a combined network of more than 200 practices and more than 320 specialists in 26 states. Both leaders have a background in practicing endodontics.
Rick Hall. President and CEO of U.S. Oral Surgery Management (Irving, Texas): Mr. Hall has more than 40 years of executive experience working with Fortune 500 and private healthcare companies. He has served as USOSM's CEO since 2018, overseeing the company's growth to more than 160 practices in 24 states. In March, he was given the U.S. Department of Defense's Patriot Award, which recognizes employers and supervisors for their support of employees who serve in the National Guard or Reserve.
John "J." Hedrick. CEO of Smile Doctors (Georgetown, Texas): Mr. Hedrick has served as Smile Doctors' CEO since 2019. His extensive leadership background includes time as CEO of the Pei Wei restaurant chain, COO of restaurant franchise NPC National and vice president of mergers and acquisitions for 7-Eleven. In his current role, he oversees Smile Doctors' network of more than 325 locations in 25 states.
Scotte Hudsmith. Chair and CEO of US Endo Partners and Specialized Dental Partners (Irving, Texas): Mr. Hudsmith has led U.S. Endo Partners since January and also began leading Specialized Dental Partners when the company was formed in October. US Endo Partners supports practices in 33 states.
Azar Zaidi. Co-founder and CEO of Bond Orthodontic Partners (Frisco, Texas): Mr. Zaidi helped launch Bond Orthodontic Partners in 2021, overseeing the company's growth to more than 700 locations across 22 states. He is also the founder and principal advisor of Healthcare Advisory Shop, serving more than 30 organizations in the medical and DSO sectors. Previously, he was the director of market development for Irvine, Calif.-based DSO Pacific Dental Services.
