From market entries and acquisitions to new leadership appointments, several small DSOs have gotten a head start on their growth in 2022.
Nine updates for DSOs with fewer than 300 practices:
- Irving, Texas-based U.S. Endo Partners has added Shelby Township, Mich.-based Orchard Endodontics to its network, it said March 1.
- Tampa, Fla.-based Today's Dental Network partnered with SmileWorks Kids Dentistry, a pediatric dental practice in Sarasota, Fla., the company announced Feb. 28.
- Bend, Ore.-based Salt Dental Collective has entered the Boise, Idaho, market with the addition of four practices to its network, the company said Feb. 28.
- Denton, Texas-based Community Dental Partners entered the Indiana market by affiliating with Same Day Dental, the company said Feb. 24. It also partnered with OrthoDent, a pediatric and orthodontics DSO, to add the company's 12 Texas locations to its network.
- Boca Raton, Fla.-based Sage Dental entered the Tampa and St. Petersburg markets with its acquisition of five practices in Florida, the DSO said Feb. 23.
- Colorado Springs, Colo.-based Peak Dental Services surpassed 50 practices with the addition of Colorado Springs-based Modern Dental at Flying Horse to its network.
- New York City-based Dntl Bar named Roshan Parikh, DDS, the head of dentistry at Walmart, its next president Feb. 15.
- Denton, Texas-based Community Dental Partners received a senior credit facility from White Oak Healthcare Finance that it will use to expand into new states, the DSO said Feb. 14.
- Miami-based Guardian Dentistry Partners added Value Dental Carolinas to its network, its first South Carolina practice, it said Feb. 10. It also added Matthews (N.C.) Family Dentistry, its first North Carolina practice.
