1. Sentinel sells MB2 Dental
New York City-based Sentinel Capital Partners announced Feb. 1 the sale of Carrollton, Texas-based MB2 Dental, a dental partnership organization.
2. Heartland Dental, Envista bolster supply partnership
Effingham, Ill.-based DSO Heartland Dental inked a four-year contract extension with Envista Holdings, a global supplier of dental products.
3. Aspen Dental opens 34th Michigan practice
Chicago-based Aspen Dental opened its 34th Michigan office in Sterling Heights.
4. Andrew Smith named executive director of Association of Dental Support Organizations
The Association of Dental Support Organizations selected Andrew Smith as its next executive director.
5. North American Dental Group taps new compliance and privacy officer
Pittsburgh-based North American Dental Group tapped Keith Carrington as its chief compliance and privacy officer.
6. Sage Dental acquires new practices, taps new leadership
Boca Raton, Fla.-based Sage Dental acquired six new dental practices in Florida, expanding the total number of locations to over 65.
7. North American Dental Group adds NYC pediatric practice
Pittsburgh-based North American Dental Group expanded its presence in New York City with the addition of Smiles4Kids Manhattan Pediatric Dental Group.
8. Western Dental switches to Voya for 401(k) retirement savings plan
Orange, Calif.-based Western Dental & Orthodontics selected Windsor, Conn.-based Voya Financial as the DSO's new recordkeeper and service provider for its 401(k) retirement savings plan.
9. Endo1 Partners closes $115M of debt facilities, allows for accelerated growth
Houston-based Endo1 Partners, an endodontic partnership organization, has closed $115 million of debt facilities, with Waterbury, Conn.-based Webster Bank arranging the senior facility.
10. Aspen Dental opens 101st Florida practice
Aspen Dental officially opened its 101st Florida practice in Bonita Springs.
11. Aspen Dental opens 42nd Illinois practice
Chicago-based Aspen Dental recently opened new practices in both Illinois and Florida.
12. NADG condemns racist violence after attack in Georgia
Pittsburgh-based North American Dental Group released a March 18 statement urging for the end of racism, bigotry and hate directed at Asians and Asian Americans.
13. 7-practice Smile Center Dental joins Western Dental, Brident
Austin, Texas-based Smile Center Dental joined Brident Dental & Orthodontics, an affiliate of Western Dental.
14. Mid-Atlantic Dental Partners taps new CEO
Plymouth Meeting, Pa.-based Mid-Atlantic Dental Partners named Leigh Feenburg as CEO March 16.
15. MB2 Dental sees 117% 2-year revenue growth, makes Inc. 5000's fastest-growing companies in Texas
Carrollton-based MB2 Dental ranked No. 114 out of 250 on Inc. 5000's fastest-growing Texas-based private companies.
16. Wisconsin DSO Cherry Tree Dental gets private equity investment
New York City-based ICV Partners made a majority investment in Madison, Wis.-based Cherry Tree Dental.
17. Aspen Dental opens 1st Colorado practice, others in Texas, Wisconsin
Chicago-based Aspen Dental opened its first practice in the state of Colorado, along with others in Texas and Wisconsin.
18. The Smilist affiliates with Encore Dental, eyes further expansion
The Smilist Management in Great Neck, N.Y., has affiliated with Encore Dental, a DSO with five offices in New Jersey.
19. Deca Dental Group acquires Reign Dental, expands into 3rd state
Dallas-based Deca Dental Group expanded into a third state through its acquisition of Reign Dental, a Seattle-based DSO.

21. Western Dental, San Diego County Dental Society offering free dental care for kids
Orange, Calif.-based Western Dental & Orthodontics partnered with the San Diego County Dental Society to support the American Dental Association's "Give Kids a Smile" program, which provides free dental screenings, dental sealants and fluoride varnishes to underserved children.
