Delta Dental of South Carolina donated $272,400 to organizations leading oral health initiatives in the state as part of its annual Mission Giving Program.
The funding was spread across four organizations, which will use the money to buy new dental equipment to provide care for uninsured South Carolinians and provide loan repayment assistance to providers who treat underserved communities.
"Our mission is to help people of all ages access vital dental care and educational services, so they can live better lives through improved dental health," Rob Goren, Delta Dental of South Carolina's president and CEO, said in a news release. "As a nonprofit, we are proud to partner with these organizations as they work to meet the dental care needs of South Carolinians."
