Chicago-based Elite Dental Partners has named Gaurav Bhattacharyya CEO, according to an Oct. 17 news release.
Mr. Bhattacharyya replaces Scott Kalniz, DDS, who will remain as a strategic advisor and a board member for the dental service organization.
Mr. Bhattacharyya has over 15 years of experience in advisory and management roles. He has served as president of EDP since July.
Before joining EDP, Mr. Bhattacharyya was division vice president at DaVita, the nation's largest kidney care service provider. There, he managed a dialysis business worth $350 million across more than 100 sites. Mr. Bhattacharryya also worked at Bain & Co. on mergers and acquisitions, commercial operations and performance improvement.
