East Syracuse, N.Y.-based Aspen Dental Management hired David Galler, DMD, as its senior vice president of orthodontic services.
Here are five insights:
1. In his new role, Dr. Galler will spearhead efforts to rollout Invisalign at the dental service organization's nearly 700 locations.
2. Dr. Galler is an Invisalign faculty member. He has treated more than 2,000 cases in the past 10 years and trained more than 3,000 physicians.
3. Aspen Dental Management partnered with Align Technology, the makers of Invisalign, in July. As a result, the DSO is installing the iTero Element intraoral scanner at all its locations. Dr. Galler will support the DSO’s efforts to install the end-to-end digital workflow at all locations by August 2019.
4. Prior to joining Aspen Dental Management, Dr. Galler practiced at Premier Dental Associates of Lower Manhattan in New York City. He serves as the president of the American Academy of Clear Aligners.
5. Dr. Galler earned his doctor of dental medicine degree from University of Pennsylvania College of Dentistry in Philadelphia. He went on to complete his general practice residency and cosmetic practice residency at Brooklyn Veteran's Administration Hospital in New York City.
